March 18, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Join us as we catch up with one another and/or meet some of you for the first time. Let’s discuss what we’ve been doing and goals for advancing our creativity.
The March Challenge is Cold Connections. Make an item using ONLY cold connections. Anyone may participate!
March Cold Connection Challenge Details:
You may use rivets, staples, tabs, sewing, sawing a folding or another means of connecting two separate items together without heat. Beginners: You do not have to complete a piece of jewelry! The goal is to try out a connection of any kind that doesn’t require heat. We are a metalsmithing group, so you may try connecting two pieces of metal together, but you could also try connecting one piece of metal to any other type of material, such as plastic, plexiglas, Formica, stone, etc.

Note: The Three-hour Challenge from February was so well received, if you would like to try it (or try it again) it is an option to do instead of or along with the March Cold Connection Challenge.
Three Hour Challenge Details: This is a hands-on jewelry making project that you do on your own using whatever you have on hand. Set a timer and create a piece of jewelry from start to finish in just three hours. You’ll want to use time wisely to create a project that is difficult enough to take about three hours, but not more than three. Show us what you’e come up with during the Zoom meetup.

Friends, you don’t have to participate in one of the challenges to be welcome at the Meetup. We are here to connect with one another and have fun. This will be very casual.
I will be using my husband’s ZOOM account for this, Rad Drew Photography, so you’ll see his info come up somewhere in the Zoom process.
Email me if you have questions. Until then!
